Want to know how I made this chocolate curl wedding cake???? Well I am totally excited to share it… Over at Tip Junkie today! Yup, I’m guest posting on Tip Junkie and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I met Laurie last summer at Evo, and she is just as adorable and sweet in real life as you could hope for. So when the chance came up to do a guest tutorial I jumped at it.

I made this chocolate lovers dream wedding cake for my husbands cousin just 2 weeks ago. It was such a fun cake to make, and fun to figure out how to make the curls! You don’t have to make a wedding cake to use this fun technique, it works great on a single layer, on pie, or even on top of cupcakes!

HA! thanks so much. I’m actually the chubby one in my family. My sisters constantly fight over who get’s to be the skinny one. But I am happy with my body and I think that’s healthier than being a size 6 (I’m a 10/12). Honestly? I love treats, but I don’t love them all the time. For me the secret has been portion control. I love a good meal more than dessert most of the time. But if I want a treat I have one, but only one…
