Who is ready for a giveaway? Creativity for Kids is going to be giving away an amazing prize to TWO lucky followers! Guess what amazing crafts you can win!

Diva Puppies …

and Create Your Own Enchanted Storybook!

The winners will each get BOTH of these adorable crafts! Now while you might think this is just for little girls I can tell you that my little boy LOVED the puppies! Also with Christmas coming even if you don’t have a little girl these would make great gifts for any little girl on your list.

Now I get to tell you about the fun we had with these products! The day they arrived my kids couldn’t WAIT to open them. I was going to do the crafts with just The Reader, but Lego Boy and The Naked One were just so excited about it. The Reader is an amazing older sister and suggested sharing, that they could each have one!

Here’s what the company says about the Diva Puppies:
*Everything you need to paint & style a trio of adorable bobble-head puppies. Just add imagination…
*Pamper 3 pooches with paint, sequins, flowers, ribbons, heart charm collars, fur, boas and tutus.
*Time for a nap? Each puppy has a soft furry bed to curl up on.
*Each bobble-head pup measures 5″ x 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″, all packaged in an adorable doghouse style box.
*Everything is included! 3 bobble head puppies, 3 fluffy puppy beds, acrylic paint, glitter glue, craft glue, leopard print fabric, sequin flower bow, sequin flower, paint brush, sequin trim, 2 tulle flowers , feather boa, tulle skirt, 3 heart stickers, 3 heart charms
*Age Range : 6 and up

The kids had so much fun. They are bobble head toys, I’ve never actually had a bobble head in my hands, so I always wondered what the big deal was. Let me tell you, they are SOOO fun! My kids even made up this fun song they sang over and over and OVER again while they painted them. I took video and pictures, but my SD card has decided to quit working on me. I lost every single picture of this craft! So you’ll just have to trust me on this one. It was great! It was fun to see how different they each painted their dogs. The reader was detailed and precise, she even painted on makeup, and nail polish. Lego Boy painted until he got bored with paint and moved onto the glitter. The Naked One painted every square inch with every single color. She even painted the eyes. Her dog had about 5 layers of paint on it! Then they split up the extra’s, the bows, tutu, etc…

They had a great time. It took up time, gave them enjoyment and is something they still play with! So win, win and win! The Reader even asked for the Cute Kitties for Christmas. Knowing they can each only ask for three things that’s a big deal around here!

Since I lost my video I’ll share one from the company

But I saved the Create your own Enchanted Storybook for The Reader all by herself. She’s great at sharing but I wanted her to have something to call her own. She had a great time.

Here’s what it says about Create Your Own Enchanted Storybook:
*Everything you need to create and decorate your own fairy tale with Create Your Own Enchanted Storybook! Just add imagination…
*Adorable castle-shaped, hard-cover book comes ready to decorate with markers, glitter stickers, color-in stickers and rhinestones.
*Create your story on the lined pages then use the blank pages for your illustrations
*Open the drawbridge door and personalize the story with your name – add your picture to the tower window, too!
*Everything is included! 10-Page Hardcover Blank Book: 10.75 in x 8 in Self-Adhesive Rhinestones , 3 Sticker Sheets: Glitter, Color-In & Full Color , 9 Mini Markers , Instructions and Ideas
*Age Range: 5 and up

She started by reading all the instructions! That’s my girl. I love reading manuals and instructions, I know, I’m a big odd. Anyway, it said you should write a rough draft first. So that’s just what she did! She spent quite some time writing it out and getting all the spelling correct.

She’s been telling us she wants to be an writer and illustrator for quite some time now. So she was thrilled about this chance. She’s very precise and doesn’t want anything to be wrong. She wrote it all down and then did all her drawings. All my kids are artists, and she’s been drawing since she was teeny tiny.

Once she was done with the artwork she got to decorate the front. She LOVED all the flowers and jewels. She really loves sparkley stuff, what girl doesn’t? Like me she had to make it all symmetrical! Is it wrong that it tickles me when she does stuff like me? She may look like me, but she’s so much like her dad that when she does stuff like me I just LOVE it!

And then her favorite part, reading it to me. Listening to the stories she creates is a wonderful doorway into her mind. This morning she read it to each of her siblings. They absolutely loved it. They asked her to read it over and over again! I can tell it’s going to be a favorite around here.
