Another Etsy pattern! I fell in LOVE with these capelet’s. I made matching ones for my oldest too. The sad thing is I can’t get the girls to wear them! SO sad. Of course this is the one that has grown up (she’s 2 1/2) to be a nudest. Seriously, she hasn’t worn clothing (or even a diaper for that matter) for more than 5 seconds in the last 2 months! SO frustrating! And there are INCHES of snow on the ground here!
I made this one for going to the Renaissance fair that weekend. I’m not a pastel person, so I LOVE these darker colors. I still try to get these on her every once in a while, but it never lasts long. I especially love the wooden buttons on this one. And it matched perfectly with this dress, I LOVED this outfit. It lasted JUST long enough for this picture. Anyway, the pattern was easy to make. I made all 4 in just 2 days. Easy, repetitive, and satisfying!

That is so cute!

Thanks, I like the darker one better myself. I wish I had gotten a picture of both girls wearing them, but they didn’t like them as much as I did!

I’ve had an image of a capelet like this in my inspiration folder. I love it! Only I don’t know how to crochet. You don’t take orders by chance?

I haven’t taken any orders for this but I would totally be willing to. I’m glad you like it!

Oh & my 2 yr old is a nudist too, so I feel your pain. I ended up potty training her because I was tired of her going on the floor!

I’d love to potty train her! I’ve been trying too. But with the Aspergers they tend to be difficult to potty train. Her and her older brother refuse to use the toilet no matter what I try. It’s the bane of my parenting right now!

She is ADORABLE! I love the capelets you’ve made. I might try one this coming winter!
