It’s been awhile since I crossed something off my 101 goals in 1001 days! And this week I crossed off 1 1/2~ Last night I took the online course and passed my test for my food handlers permit. The thing is you only had to get 70% or better! Insane! It was so much common sense that I wonder if you could fail if you TRIED! Anyway I did miss one question, but I’m not sure which one it was. Probably one of those times when I didn’t take the time to read the question correctly and made a simple error. I tend to do that when I get on a roll during a test taking situation! But it’s done! Now I just have to get my approval for my Cottage Licence (allowing me to sell goods legally from my home) and finish my website and I can start really marketing my Cake business! (don’t forget I’m trying to build up my portfolio and I’m offering a discount to blog readers for wedding or multi-tiered cakes for the rest of the year)
AND after years and YEARS of trying we finally can say that Lego Boy is COMPLETELY potty trained! He’s actually been wearing underwear full time for 2 weeks now, but I didn’t want to say anything in fear of jinxing it! But today after school I took the kids to the movie theater for a special treat (fall break) and in the MIDDLE of the movie he told me he had to go and we made it just fine to the bathroom! If there was anytime to have an accident that would have been it! And since he made it I think we can safely say it’s done! Now to finish that goal we just need to get The Naked One more consistent! She is using the toilet about 80% of the time now, so it’s just that last little bit, like the inconvenient times, that we’re still missing. Oh, and she still likes to get completely naked to go so for now her nickname stays.

It’s been a HUGE week for us! Of course I didn’t get ANY remodeling done this week, but I feel it’s been a pretty productive few days! And now it’s the beginning of Fall Break here in UT so I have a 4 day weekend with the kiddo’s! We’re going to hit up Lagoon for some Frightmare fun! And I have a cake to make for my 2nd cousin twice removed (or something like that, I can never keep track. My mom’s cousins grandson? Anyone?)
Great work!!! Wish you were closer! We are looking for a fab cake for my mum’s 60th!!!

Congrats on the FH permit and the potty training. That is one of my least favorite parts about parenting.

I’m not much of a potty trainer, so for me it was more dealing with the “embarrassment” that I have a 5 YO in diapers while waiting for him to be interested! But with The Naked one she’s not into the toilet or diapers so with her dealing with the messes she leaves is a BIG DEAL! So we’re really focusing on it with her!
