The last stop in our The Shops at Riverwoods blogger event last week was the amazing La Jolla Groves. It’s a restaurant in Provo with seriously delicious food.

The executive chef, Kent Anderson, had some amazing food he shared with us! He was personable and very funny. He talked about how they use locally grown produce as often as they can, the change in the menu they are making, and the cooking demonstrations they do once in a while. Last week he taught classes on how to create a perfect Thanksgiving meal!

We were treated to some AMAZING food.  They brought out samples of quite a few items on the menu for us to share and try.  I loved the artichoke dip and loved loved LOVED the mushroom soup.  The soup alone would be worth the trip down.  And you HAVE to try the Chicken stuffed crepes.

The entree’s were all amazing.  The salmon was incredible (I had seconds) the chicken over mashed potatoes was fantastic and the beef tenderloin was AMAZING.  And of course dessert was to DIE for!!!  I had to go out and nurse Baby Boy for a bit so I didn’t get to try them all, but the chocolate mousse cake was fantastic, as was the brulee.  There was also a few lemon desserts that looked fantastic, but I totally missed.

I am TOTALLY driving my husband down to Provo for a date night soon, the food was SO good.  They also have a bakery right there, I am still kicking myself that I didn’t buy a pie while I was there.  Don’t forget to like their facebook page so you can stay apprised of their new website launch seasonal deals, menu changes, etc…

Thank you to Bryce Olsen for taking all the pictures for the day so we didn’t have to!  And thank you to Elisa, Veronica & Kyle for putting together such a wonderful day!

No I’m not Satanic, a star is just a star, and the 5 pointed star is the one we all teach our children to draw. It’s not really a surprise that it shows up in art, buildings, and windows.
