Friday at around 4 am my computer got hit with a NASTY virus! I spent all day Friday and all morning Saturday on the phone with India “ohio”. I logged over 17 hours on my cell. I still can’t tell if the virus software “support” helped or made it worse. The virus stopped popping up all the time but none of my .exe files are working and the while the internet is showing up as working none of my 4 browsers are connecting!!!
In the end I gave up, we took my computer tower into a local repair guy that came recommended to us. I’ll find out today what the damage is. Can it be fixed or is my hard earned camera budget going for a new computer tower (at this rate I’ll NEVER get that SLR I’m saving for! GAH! Nikon please come sponsor me and send me a camera I promise I’ll thank you over and over and over again!). I’m hoping it will be a easy and CHEAP fix rather than replacement.

BUT until then all my pictures, picture editing, etc… is unavailable. I have a ton of posts I’m supposed to have up this week, like a project I made for Elmers that I’m SO excited about, but I can’t get to them. I’m so frustrated! A ton of other non blog related but computer based projects I’m now woefully behind on… Wish me luck, that with a miracle I can make up for lost time and get everything done ON TIME!
Ashlee- I am so sorry. We had a similar thing happen to ours. Luckily it wasn’t too bad and recovered, but it’s such a pain. I wish people would just knock off being jerks and leave us alone!

the repair guy seems to be having good luck, but looks like we’re going to have to reboot the whole thing. But he was able to create a full backup first! We’ll see!
