Today I wanted to talk a bit about my co-pinhead! First up is the gal who started it all! Meet Rebecca at Better Life Bags!
You have to to start with her about me page, not only is her story of starting a a non profit custom handbag and accessory business! But also her husband wrote her story up. He is obviously so proud of her as well as very involved. It’s great to see couples working so amazingly well together. My husband doesn’t even read my blog (but I think it might be best that way so it doesn’t bother me!)
She is also amazingly talented. Check out some of her amazing bags at her etsy shop! She does her own designs and custom orders. Kind of makes me think more about the fact that I have no diaper bag and only 8 weeks left before I’ll need one again! These are GORGEOUS!
And not just diaper bags, Market bags, Clutch’s, snack bag’s, totes, and a convertible bag! I am LOVING that convertible bag. (Rebecca you’ll probably be getting a call from me pretty soon. I had plans to make my own diaper bag, but it’s getting close and my sewing machine is unreachable in the mess I call an office right now!)
And on her blog she has even more! How great is this notes/calendar board made from an old cabinet door? I LOVE the width, I know what I’ll be looking for at garage sales from now on, old cabinet doors!
And these adorable painted socks? Think I might have to try to paint some wingtips for the little man when he arrives!
Not only is she an amazing host but she’s also a sponsor! She’d donating three $25 gift certificates to her shop, one for the sewing challenge, one for the home decor challenge and one HERE for the recipe challenge! AND if that wasn’t enough she’s donating a FULL bag (worth $50) to the General Craft challenge! Don’t forget to check out her facebook page and Pinterest pages too!
