Still in the middle/start of the remodel. So I haven’t been home let alone had time for crafting myself. So seeing all the Topsy Turvy Tuesday crafts was my craft fill for the week! Thank’s for inspiring me! It’s so hard not to feature like 20 things! But I’m trying to keep my features down to 5-7 so it’s not overwhelming! But it’s hard when there are SO many amazing stuff. This was an especially well crafted week out there! Thanks again for linking up and don’t forget to come back tomorrow!!
camping birthday party
First up? OH MY WORD! This camping party Lisa, at Moore Minutes threw for her little boy is AMAZING! A ton of work went into this party, and only one guest came! AMAZING. Truly truly truly. Everything was perfect. The decor, specially ordered tent, the camouflage wrapped gifts. Then the trail mix goody snack bags, the foil bag dinner, then a S’more dessert bar (HEAVEN!). Homemade crafts for the boys, camp rules, nature walk! And then the details continue with a totally adorable hobo bags for the favor bags. There wasn’t one part of this party that wasn’t to the theme and spot on. Perfection. If only I liked camping! Seriously though, I am TOTALLY doing this for one of my boys (maybe the hubby!). And all the stuff I didn’t mention! It’s a long post full of pictures (the best kind) so check it out!
Initial lap tray
I think I found my mothers day gift for my mom next year. Lori at Paisley Passions made this GORGEOUS initialed lap tray. I love it! Sad for me my last name initial, P, wouldn’t hold up a lap tray. But my maiden name, an E would! I’ve seen this featured all over the place, and with good reason, it’s simpley beautiful, and a brilliant. This is one of those crafts that makes me go, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
Rainbow ruffled shirt
I love ruffles, I love rainbows, I love bright colors. This is a gorgeous ruffled rainbow top from BJ Mama at For What It’s Worth – or not!. Not only is it beautiful, but she has a wonderfully clear tutorial with ton’s of pictures. I had a ruffled rainbow shirt fail a few months ago. But this inspired me and once my sewing machine is fixed I’m pulling it out again and starting over!
French bathroom makeover
I’ve been a fan of Frenchy for awhile. She throws fun birthday parties, so I love her! This bathroom makeover is amazing, SO beautiful! We’re remodeling the basement adding a kitchen now. We’re hoping to remodel the bathroom, adding a tub, next year. While my bathroom with be about 1/8th of the size I love so many of the elements. I have my own tile cutter and have tiled quite a few floors in our old homes. I am slowing falling in love with those small tiles. I’m thinking of my kitchen backsplash, Yes/No????
painted shower curtain
I’m sure you’ve all checked out So you think your crafty. I am in love with it. It’s like reality TV for craft bloggers! Anyway, this brilliant, and cute, painted shower curtain by A girl and Glue girl is SO cute! Not only is it cute, but she gives great directions on how to do it yourself! My shower curtain won’t be this theme, but I have some hopes for changing this and using it to fit my plans (when I finally GET a tub, so a year or two away still!)
knitted pig bottle holder
It’s a pig! As an avid pig collector AND a knitter I loved this! How could I NOT include this! Randi at Dukes and Dutchesses created this after being inspired by a water bottle holder she saw online. I just wish there was a tutorial so I could easily make my own. But I’ll figure it out! So cute!
So if you were featured please remember to take a button! Thanks to all who participated! I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with this week!
