I just got back from camping with my family for our first ever family reunion. I’ll share more about our great weekend next Sunday (my day to post family type stuff). Suffice it to say I have the WORST sunburn of my life and I slept all day Sunday to make up for the lack of sleep over the weekend (my air-mattress had a hole it in and my hips are so bruised). BUT it was a GREAT weekend, the kids got along and the adults all got along (sometimes the harder of the two).
This week I showed off the latest in a string of weird places my kid’s go to sleep. I had a guest post over at Sew Dang Cute where I shared my Dark Chocolate Souffle recipe (which will be re-posted here next week).
And don’t forget to check out the wonderful giveaway from the Lilypotaumus boutique! It ends tomorrow, but the discount code Topsy20 is good for 20% off until the end of the month!
Check out these adorable matching summer seersucker outfits that The Domesticated Mama made her son and daughter. The crab’s on the bottom just MAKE it! She made both the dress and the shorts from patterns from SewSweetPatterns. I love finding new pattern shops. They looks SO cute!
Don’t you LOVE adjustable waists in your kids pants? I do… What if you have a pair of pants that DON’T have this amazing new invention? Well add it to the pants/shorts/maternity bottoms yourself of course!!! GerogiaBE shares her add-your-own button hole elastic tutorial. LOVE it (read that with a sing-song voice)!
One of the reasons I started blogging more (my first 4 years I had maybe 4 followers) was to socialize and make more friends. One of those friends is Leanne from Organize and Decorate Everything. She’s friendly, kind, a great mother, one of the most REAL people I’ve meet in this blogging world. I quite simply adore her. Anyway, she linked up this AMAZING summer fun list photo banner! I am TERRIBLE at printing off my pictures. I love being digital with my pictures, and I look through them often, but I really need to be better at printing pictures off so everyone else can enjoy them too! Having a goal to make something like this every year would be just the incentive I needed to print some pictures off.
So there you have it, some of the features from last week. Don’t forget to take a button if you were featured.

Don’t forget to grab a button for you blog somewhere (text links work just great as well).
I spoke too soon last week. I did get ONE link with music on their blog. Gah! But one is better than 10, so for those of you who have taken off your music just know that your blog readers/visitors thank you. If your insisting on keeping your music on know you have a terrible bounce rate because we all close your window as soon as we can, and I know that I won’t feature you no matter HOW amazing your project/recipe/tutorial is!

Hey Ashlee!! I hope you’re having a great week and feeling good!
Thanks so much for hosting!

Aw, Ashlee! I love you too. We need to get together again soon. I’m glad you had such a great weekend and that all the adults played nice. Sorry about the sunburn and bruises though. Thanks for featuring my summer fun banner.

Thanks for hosting. I am a new follower from Tip Junkie. So glad I found your blog. I bookmarked the photo banner. I have been wanting to make garland of some sort for my wall and what an awesome way to get some pictures out there. I am like you and enjoy my pics digitally, but rarely print these days. Looking forward to exploring your creative corner.

Thanks! I liked how it turned out, but in the end I think I’d rather have my flourless chocolate cake. It’ makes a ton more, is easier and I ADORE the flavor!
