FEATURES! I love features. There were so many amazing links this last week. So here are a few of my favorites! Don’t forget to come link up to this week’s link party!
chalkboard
Lamb at Lambaround has created this AMAZING chalkboard door! I’ve been planning on painting some chalkboard paint on our bathroom door, but I never considered doing the whole door! LOVE it! I am totally considering this for my kids’ rooms!
rock and bowl
Have any vinyl records lying around (ones you don’t care about and are worth NOTHING). Check this out, a bowl made out of a record! What a great bowl. I only WISH my mom kept things so I could do this. All the records I grew up with would make not only great bowls, but fun memories. Lucky for me my grandmother keeps EVERYTHING! So I only have to remember this project when she dies and we finally get to go through her full house (hopefully not for years and years and YEARS! Love you G’ma!)
chalkboard to do chart
Is it just me or were there TONS of chalkboard projects floating around the Craft Link parties this week??? Anyway I LOVE chalkboard projects. I have QUITE a few planned over the next few weeks. AND I like to do charts, well lists of any and all kinds. So when I saw this chalkboard to do list I fell in love! I’m a list girl. It goes well with my slight OCD issues (I color code my M&M’s before eating them, I know, I’m awesomely fun!)
Anthro necklace
If you have kids you know that when they are young it makes it hard to wear jewelry. They rip off and break earrings and necklaces. I’ve been lucky to wear my wedding ring MOST of the time. Anyway with The Naked One being 3 I can FINALLY wear jewelry again. So I’ve been drooling over some amazing pieces. I love this Anthropologie necklace knock off!
chopstick earrings
Speaking of jewelry Check out these earrings from Mich L. She made them out of Chopsticks. I LOVE Japan, if you didn’t already know that. We used to live in Japan and I miss it every day, so anytime I see anything from Japan I tend to fall in love! These are great! Now I know what I need to look for next time I’m at our Japanese Grocery store!
sensory balls
Part of the High Functioning Autism is lots of sensory issues. touch, sound’s, light. Computer boy wouldn’t let us touch his hair for years. And he’s still sensitive to light as well as sensitivity to the feeling of clothing. He can’t wear underwear that is at all fitted. He’s so skinny that he fit’s into size 5 pant’s but he refuses to wear underwear that’s smaller than size 14!. Lego boy is sensitive to sounds and loud noises. This is one of the area’s I can relate too. I myself am sensitive to sounds, the sounds of my husband or father rubbing their socks together drive me NUTS! ANYWAY I love these fabric ball’s in different textures. They would be GREAT for kid’s with touch sensitivity’s to play with. So I am TOTALLY going to make some of these!

So if you were featured please remember to take a button! Thanks to all who participated! I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with this week!

  5. The last pic isn’t of the fabric balls; it’s a repeat of the chopstick necklaces. :/
